Utilizing research-based treatment protocols, clinical trials and innovative therapies, Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center and its board-certified pediatric oncologists treat more than 75 forms of cancer and blood disorders in children and young adults.
The ECCC provides comprehensive care for a wide range of non-malignant blood disorders including anemia, hemophilia, myelodysplastic syndrome, sickle cell disease and thalassemia. Together with the region’s only adolescent gynecologist, we also offer a Women’s Clinic, treating children and young adults with heavy or abnormal bleeding.
Our doctors are experts in treating pediatric leukemia and lymphoma as well as the primary types of histiocytosis, which are disorders that involve an increase in specialized white blood cells.
We offer advanced treatment, including surgery, for a wide range of solid tumors, including bone tumors like osteosarcoma, Ewing’s sarcoma, neuroblastoma, kidney tumors, liver tumors and soft tissue tumors.
