Support Groups

support groupSupport groups offer information about a disease or condition and its symptoms and treatment. They help you connect with people facing similar issues and illnesses. Talking to others in a similar situation offers you the opportunity to share experiences and advice and learn more about what you are facing. If you have thoughts or feelings that you are reluctant to share with family and friends, you may find others in the support group who share them and can talk about them with you.
