Kathy Waller

Responsibilities:

Performs patient set-ups and treatment with linear accelerator as well as simulation and CT scans for planning. Assists with high-dose-rate procedures. Performs calculations or block fabrication associated with treatment.

Lisa Baumgartner

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences, Morehead State University, 2003
Certificate in Radiation Therapy, University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, 2004

Responsibilities:

Performs CT simulation for the planning of patients' treatments. Performs conventional simulations, patient set-up and treatment on the linear accelerator.

Responsibilities:

Performs patient set-up and treatment on the linear accelerator. Performs simulations and CT scans for treatment planning, dose calculations and block fabrications, if necessary. Maintains detailed chart documentation for each patient.

Responsibilities:

Explains radiation therapy to patients, including outlining possible side effects. Helps patients cope with side effects and understand treatment options.

"My goal is to help cancer patients through a difficult personal, physical and emotional time so they can get back to their optimal quality of life."

Stephanie Chittum

Education:

Associate's Degree in Nursing, Shawnee State University, 1990

Responsibilities:

Assists physicians with exams. Educates patients.

Kim Brickey

Responsibilities:

Assists in all modalities of radiation treatment, initial CT planning, simulation and daily treatments.

"My main responsibility is to develop a treatment plan, along with the radiation oncologist, that adequately treats the area of concern while protecting the critical organs near the treatment field. I have always taken great pride in providing my patients with the best treatment possible, while always respecting their quality of life. My patients, in turn, have taught me some of the most important lessons in living. I cannot imagine a career with greater rewards."

Angela Hayes

Administrative duties, patient treatments, medical dosimetry.

Sheila Reeves

Sheila Reeves
Administrative Secretary

Responsibilities:

Office filing, transcription, patient interaction.

"I want to treat the patients and their families like I would need to be treated. Fighting cancer is a scary time for them and I try to reassure them when they come in that it is not as scary as they think. We are here to help patients ease their stress, and I want them to come to the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center and feel welcome."
