Privacy Statement

The Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of information provided by users of our website. We have created the following data collection policy to demonstrate our commitment to the issue of privacy.

User information collected by the ECCC website

We collect information about our users through the various web forms present on our website. These forms include Contact forms, Patient Referral forms, and our double opt-in mailing list subscription form. The latter also allows users to unsubscribe at any time.

Additionally, our web server automatically collects the ISP domain name and IP address of users, as well as the browsing habits of users within our domain.

How we use the information we collect

Information provided by our users through web forms is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the user's request. For example, when a user contacts us, we require the user's name, e-mail address and/or telephone number in order to answer the inquiry.

Likewise, our double opt-in mailing list requires users to provide an e-mail address in order for us to deliver the periodic ECCC newsletter. Our newsletters and website also allow subscribers to remove this e-mail address from our mailing list at any time.

Information collected by our web server is used to improve the content of our web pages, and to monitor the operation of our website.

Do we share the above mentioned information?

No. We do not share any of the information we collect. Additionally, we use information solely for its intended purpose. For example, when subscribing to our mailing list, the e-mail address is used only to periodically deliver our ECCC newsletter.

Should you have any questions with regard to our privacy policy, do not hesitate to contact us.
