KEE 100 radio personalities Dave Roberts and Jennifer Seay present their donation to Velma Workman (center), community development coordinator for the Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation.

Dave Roberts and Jennifer Seay, best known as Dave and Jenn from iHeart Media’s morning radio show on KEE 100 FM, recently delivered a $3,500 donation to the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center to help cover the cost of screening mammograms for uninsured or underinsured women. The money was a portion of the $14,000 raised through the iHeart Media "pink duck" sale last fall.

"We were blown away by the generosity and compassion of our community," Dave and Jenn said in a joint statement. "A total of $14,000 was raised, and we are hoping that the money helps every woman in need in the Tri-State receive a mammogram."

Screening mammograms are a leading preventive measure for women, regardless of their risk for breast cancer. The Breast Health Center at Cabell Huntington Hospital offers 3D mammograms from 7:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and until 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You can schedule an appointment by calling 304.526.2270.

"We are so pleased to accept this donation because it shows us again how generous our community can be for everyone in need," said Velma Workman, community development coordinator for the Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation. "This effort to raise money for women in need will go far in screening for breast cancer. Thank you to the donors and iHeart Media for the wonderful support."
