Dr. Pacioles specializes in providing care for adults with cancer, blood disorders and cancers in the digestive system. He also has a special interest in geriatric oncology, which is the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in elderly patients.

Prostate Cancer Patient at ECCC Receives Huntington/Tri-State Region’s First Dose of New and Promising Drug
With hopes of easier treatments for his prostate cancer and a longer life, Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center patient Douglas Clapper became the Huntington/Tri-State region’s first recipient of the new cancer drug Xofigo®.
Local Cancer Research May Have Worldwide Impact
A technology to help identify the most appropriate chemotherapy for cancer patients has been developed by MU scientists Dr. Pier Paolo Claudio and Dr. Jagan Valluri, in cooperation with the McKown Translational Genomics Research Institute and the ECCC.
Director Named for Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center
Uma Sundaram, MD, an experienced physician researcher, has been named Director of the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center and Vice Dean for Clinical and Translational Sciences at the Marshall University Joan C. ECCC Radiation Oncology Program first in WV to earn ACR Accreditation
The Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center has been accredited in radiation oncology by the American College of Radiology, the nation's oldest and most widely accepted radiation oncology accrediting body.
Free Women’s Health Screening April 12
Free pelvic exams and clinical breast exams will be available for women over age 18, and pap smears will be available for those who qualify.
Regional Cancer Nursing Symposium Mar. 21-22
