Ceredo Elementary 4th Graders Donate $1,175 to Good Samaritan Fund
They presented $1,175 to the ECCC for the Good Samaritan Fund, which helps cancer patients with expenses that are incidental to cancer treatment, such as vehicle repairs, lodging and fuel purchases.
ECCC & CHH Breast Health Centers Earn NAPBC Accreditation
The Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center Diagnostic Breast Center and the Cabell Huntington Hospital Breast Health Center are the only breast centers in Huntington to earn this accreditation.

A radiation oncologist is a doctor who has gone through specialized education and training on the appropriate and safe use of radiation therapy, which is an important part of cancer care.

Dr. Arrington specializes in performing surgery for a wide range of cancers, including stomach (gastric), colon, liver, pancreas, melanoma, endocrine (thyroid, adrenal) and soft tissue sarcomas.

Founding Physician Gerard Oakley, MD, Named Medical Director of ECCC
Gynecologic oncologist Gerard Oakley, MD, has been named medical director of the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center (ECCC). He is one of the founding physicians of the ECCC, and he has been caring for patients there since it opened in 2006.

Dr. Yehuda Lebowicz is an experienced cancer specialist with a special interest in providing care for patients with leukemia, lymphoma or lung cancer, and he is accepting new patients.

Dr. Pacioles specializes in providing care for adults with cancer, blood disorders and cancers in the digestive system. He also has a special interest in geriatric oncology, which is the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in elderly patients.

With hopes of easier treatments for his prostate cancer and a longer life, Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center patient Douglas Clapper became the Huntington/Tri-State region’s first recipient of the new cancer drug Xofigo®.
