Dr. Khasawneh and Dr. Pacioles provide care for patients with cancers or blood and bleeding disorders. Their regular presence at PVH offers cancer patients in the Point Pleasant area faster and more direct access to the ECCC’s highly specialized care.

ECCC Welcomes Fellowship-Trained Women’s Cancer Specialist
Dr. Bou Zgheib, who is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, has completed extensive training in gynecologic cancer diagnosis and treatment and minimally invasive surgery, including daVinci® surgery, at the University of South Florida and Moffitt Cancer Center.
2014 Colors of Cancer 5K Run/Walk
The Colors of Cancer 5K Run/Walk is a unique opportunity to work together to build awareness, offer encouragement, demonstrates our support and raise funds to beat cancer of any kind.
Founding Physician Gerard Oakley, MD, Named Medical Director of ECCC
Gynecologic oncologist Gerard Oakley, MD, has been named medical director of the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center (ECCC). He is one of the founding physicians of the ECCC, and he has been caring for patients there since it opened in 2006.
Fellowship-Trained Hematologist/Oncologist Joins ECCC
Dr. Yehuda Lebowicz is an experienced cancer specialist with a special interest in providing care for patients with leukemia, lymphoma or lung cancer, and he is accepting new patients.

Dr. Pacioles specializes in providing care for adults with cancer, blood disorders and cancers in the digestive system. He also has a special interest in geriatric oncology, which is the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in elderly patients.

Prostate Cancer Patient at ECCC Receives Huntington/Tri-State Region’s First Dose of New and Promising Drug
With hopes of easier treatments for his prostate cancer and a longer life, Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center patient Douglas Clapper became the Huntington/Tri-State region’s first recipient of the new cancer drug Xofigo®.
Local Cancer Research May Have Worldwide Impact

Free pelvic exams and clinical breast exams will be available for women over age 18, and pap smears will be available for those who qualify.
